Q: How do I order a diploma frame and how does the process work?
A: Go to "Product Ordering", choose your school and frame style and follow the easy instructions on the screen or you may call us at 1-800-633-0579. There is no need to send us your diploma. Once you receive your customized diploma frame, installation of your diploma is fast and easy. No tools are necessary.

Q: Do I have to mail my diploma to PFC ---- Who puts it in the frame?
A: Do not send us your diploma. Installation instructions are enclosed with the frame. The diploma slides easily into the frame with no tools necessary.

Q: What kind of matting is used in your frames?
A: PFC uses only "archival" quality matting and back board that meets or exceeds the Library of Congress standard for museum framing. All mats are fade resistant and will protect the diploma from yellowing.

Q: What kind of glass is used?
A: PFC uses the highest quality picture framing glass. However, non-glare and UV-protected, and plexy glass are available upon request for an additional charge. Please call for quote.

Q: Can I get a matching frame for another diploma or certificate I received from another school?
A: Yes, go to customize or call us at 800-633-0579.

Q: How are your frames different from competition?
A: PFC is one of the few companies who offer so many different choices of frame styles and mat styles. Also we are flexible enough to make for you any size or design you desire. What sets us apart from our competitors are many frame styles and mat colors choices. Some of the products offered are gold embossing, use of archival matting and backboard, matching frames for other certificates, 24K gold plated medallions, tassel holders, 3-D Mascot cut out, 3-D Campus Collage, pen & ink water color of your school landmark, suede matting and numerous other products and services.

Q: Can I choose different mat colors?
A: Yes, you can by going to the custom section of the online store or call us directly at 800-633-0579 to place your order. In store purchases are limited to those mat colors stocked by the store.

Q: Can I purchase a different frame style and mat?
A: Yes, you can mix and match different frame styles with any mat design and color you like. To do this, you can go to the custom section of the online store or call Professional Framing Company directly at 800-633-0579.

Q: How will my frame be shipped?
A: We use FedEx ground to ship your frame any where in the 48 contiguous States with the exception of shipping to P.O. Boxes and APO addresses. Shipping to a P.O. Box, an APO address, or overseas shipping is available for an additional charge. Please call for quote. Expedited and international shipping are available (additional shipping charges will apply).

Q: How long before I get my frame?
A: Standard lead-time is 1-2 weeks from receipt of your order.

Q: What do I do if I receive my frame damaged?
A: Although all frames are packaged to meet or exceed the UPS standards, with any fragile items, there is a chance of damage. Simply contact us at 1-800-633-0579 and we will have your frame replacement sent to you as soon as possible.

Q: Which are your best selling frames?
A: 1- Rosewood with Gold Lip, 2-Rosewood, 3-Mahogany Braid, 4-Cherry Lacquer, 5-Cherry Reverse, 6-Burgundy Marble, 7-Crimson Lacquer. However, style choice is entirely up to the individual buyer's preference.

Q: What features are included in a standard frame?
A: A single or double archival mat and backboard is included, with school name and seal embossed in gold leaf and our high quality framing glass. A dust cover board is added for extra protection.

Q: Which size diploma frame do most customers prefer?
A: Actual frame size is a function of the diploma itself, which is determined by the administration. However, optional choices such as tassel holder opening, double opening, 24K gold plated medallion, and 3-D mascot cutout are individual choices that can be easily added.

Q: What type of wood are the frames made out of?
A: Our frames are made from either Ramon (hardwood) or Jeltong wood that are harvested in Malaysia and milled and stained in Italy to achieve the highest quality finish. The wood mouldings are kiln-dried and are either sprayed with oil-based lacquer or stain finish to achieve the highest durability and its elegant quality finish. All wood used in production of our frames are farm grown - not from the rain forest. We pride ourselves in helping preserve our rain forest.
